Motorvation was established by Will Birrell way back when in the 1980s when the best cars of the day then are now the popular classics of today and this was a time when 1960s Ferraris and Jaguars were seen as a financial liability not an investment.

Over the past 30 years Motorvation has been involved in classic car servicing, restoration and classic race/rally car preparation. We have cared for literally hundreds of satisfied clients, from very near to very far, many customers stay loyal even if they move away. Those hundreds of customers have brought even more hundreds of cars to the workshop for everything from a simple tyre or oil change to a new fast road suspension set-to a last minute build of a genuine Group 5 Lancia Stratos for Goodwood FOS or a ground up restoration of a Radford Mini Cooper S.

Some of the more recent work has seen an eclectic mix of cars in the workshop including a beautiful 1960s Alfa Giuletta Spider getting a full rebuild to better than new condition, a Datsun 240Z having 40 years of bodged welding undone and done properly, a Triumph Spitfire being restored to a pristine example as a surprise gift, a fibreglass Ferrari 308 having a full engine build, and a modern rare classic Alfa 156 GTA being given a full V6 Busso engine and suspension rebuild ready for another 17 years of service for its dedicated owner.
